SERIES MANIA est LE festival international consacré aux séries du monde entier.
La 11^ème édition se déroulera du 20 au 28 mars prochain à Lille.

En plus des projections de séries, le festival est ouvert aux autres pratiques artistiques avec une programmation événementielle riche et variée : expositions thématiques, animations, soirées, concerts etc.

C’est dans ce cadre qu’est née l’idée d’une exposition participative Séries Mania x Kiblind. En 2020, ce dispositif vous invite à illustrer les séries qui ont imaginé le futur.

Alors, si

• Vous maniez le crayon comme personne et/ou êtes un as de la tablette graphique,
• Vous faites partie de la grande communauté des séries addicts,
• Vous rêvez de participer – ou de revenir – à SERIES MANIA, le festival 100 % séries, et de découvrir la belle ville de Lille,

Pour tous, un sujet de création : Futur en séries.

Le futur, les séries l’imaginent depuis longtemps, et l’ont parfois même anticipé. Depuis les années 1950, les séries ont pressenti l’arrivée de la voiture autonome, de l’informatique en réseau, ou même du transhumanisme. Aujourd’hui, les séries racontent même un futur dans lequel l’être humain pourrait changer de corps, jusqu’à n’exister plus qu’informatiquement. Elles anticipent aussi l’incidence des évolutions technologiques sur nos sociétés.

Les 22 séries suivantes* donnent toutes une vision de notre futur et de l’importance de la technologie dans l’avenir.

Choisissez une série et inspirez-vous en pour créer une œuvre graphique et/ou illustrée !

À vous d’être créatif pour faire comprendre par un détail, des objets, des personnages, une scène marquante, une atmosphère, la série à laquelle vous faites référence 🙂

*Cette liste est établie à titre indicatif ; vous pouvez vous inspirer d’une autre série si celle-ci traite de la thématique du futur.

Comment participer ?

Pour participer, rien de plus simple :

1) CRÉEZ

Faites travailler votre imagination et illustrez les séries qui ont imaginé le futur.

Créez en respectant un format carré, 1080 x 1080 pixels.

Et attention, pas de typographie sur votre œuvre.
Cette année, le concours est 100 % illustré et graphique.

2) POSTEZ

Postez le visuel sur votre compte Instagram, accompagné du hashtag #futurenseries

N’hésitez pas à taguer au passage @seriesmania ou @kiblind_magazine ou à ajouter les hashtag #SeriesMania ou #kiblind 😉

Envoyez en parallèle votre visuel HD (300 dpi minimum, les affiches lauréates seront imprimées au format 100 cm x 100 cm) à l’adresse expo@seriesmania.com.

Précisez dans votre mail votre nom, prénom, téléphone, ville, le nom de série qui a inspiré votre création et le titre éventuel de votre œuvre. Merci.

3) SOYEZ EXPOSÉS AU CŒUR DU FESTIVAL…

Entre 15 et 20 créations graphiques et illustrées seront sélectionnées par l’équipe de SERIES MANIA et la rédaction de Kiblind Magazine. Elles auront la chance d’être exposées, en grand format, pendant le festival SERIES MANIA !

Ces gagnants remporteront aussi chacun 1 pass VIP donnant accès à toutes les séances du festival et 1 pack de goodies concocté avec amour par SERIES MANIA x Kiblind.

4) … ET VENEZ À LILLE ! 

Cerise sur le gâteau, 2 grands Prix remporteront un week-end 100 % séries pour 2 personnes, comprenant un aller-retour direction Lille*, une nuit d’hôtel et deux pass prioritaires pour profiter du premier weekend du festival !

Ils seront désignés :

• par le public, à la suite d’un vote ouvert (à partir du 18 février)
• par notre jury, composé d’1 membre de Kiblind, 1 membre de SERIES MANIA et d’1 professionnel français des séries.

*voyage pris en charge au départ de la France et de la Belgique

[Kiblind x Séries Mania]
Drawing contest:
Showing future

For the second year in a row, Kiblind and SERIES MANIA put a drawing contest together – open to all the creative people, professional and non-professional. Take part in it until February 16^th. 

SERIES MANIA is THE international festival dedicated to worldwide shows.
The 11^th edition will take place from March 20^th to March 28^th in Lille.
In addition to screenings, the festival is open to other artistic fields with a rich and diversified program: exhibitions, concerts, parties…

That’s how grew the idea of a collective exhibition SERIES MANIA x Kiblind.
This year, we want to invite participants to draw the series that have imagined the future.

So:

• if you draw like no one else or are a tablet champion
• if you are part of the shows addicts community
• if you dream to be at the next SERIES MANIA fest and discover the pretty city of Lille

Do not hesitate and take part of it from the January 20^th until February 16^th.

For everyone, one topic: Showing future.

Series have imagined future for a long time and sometimes they predicted it: self driving cars, digital networks, transhumanism. Today, they even present a future where humans will be able to change bodies and have a digital consciousness.

Choose a series and get inspired to create graphic or illustrated work.

Up to you to be creative and make understand by details, characters, atmosphere… the show you have chosen 🙂

*This list is informative only, you can choose another show with the theme of the future. 

How to participate?

 This is really easy:

1) CREATE

– Be creative and draw the shows that illustrates the future.

– Use a square format (1080 x 1080 px)

– Be careful to not use any typography on your work. This year, the contest is 100% about illustration and graphic design.

2) POST

Post your visual on your Instagram account with the #futurenseries hashtag

Do not hesitate to tag @seriesmania or @kiblind_magazine or to add #SeriesMania or #kiblind 😉

Send an HD version of your visual (a minimum of 300 dpi; the winning creations will be printed in 100 cm x 100 cm format) to expo@seriesmania.com

Give in your email your name, surname, phone number, city, the name of the show that inspired you and the possible name of your work.

3) BE EXHIBITED IN THE HEART OF THE FESTIVAL…

Between 15 and 20 works will be selected by the SERIES MANIA and KIBLIND teams. The lucky winners will be exhibited during the festival.

They will also win a VIP pass giving the access to all the screenings and a bag of goodies chosen with love by SERIES MANIA and Kiblind.

4) COME TO LILLE

Icing on the cake, 2 grand prize winners will get a 100% shows weekend for 2 people with a round trip ticket to Lille*, one night in a nice hotel and 2 priority pass to enjoy the first weekend of the festival.

They will be chosen by:

• the audience (with an open vote starting on February 18^th)
• judges from SERIES MANIA, KIBLIND and a TV shows expert

*the trip includes a departure from France or Belgium
